This March, we had the opportunity to present the 36th Dincat Congress, held this year at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Under the slogan “Sharing is Growing”, on 20 and 21 March some 350 professionals, together with families and people from the disability community, came together to share knowledge and experiences. The common goal was to move towards innovative models that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and special difficulties, in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Silvia Solé and Sandra Ruiz from our performing arts company La Màxima hosted the event and, from the very start, connected with the audience and conveyed the spirit of this edition’s slogan like no one else: Sharing is Growing.
For the Fundació Ilersis, taking an active part in this gathering has been an enriching experience that has allowed us to learn from other organisations and professionals in the third sector, share experiences and see for ourselves that when our support network grows, so do ideas and, above all, hope for a better future for everyone.
