Day care
The Day Activity Centre (CO) of Fundació Ilersis provides daytime care for people with functional diversity whose main diagnosis is intellectual disability. Its aim is to foster the personal and social development of the people it supports in an inclusive setting, led by ethics and sustainability.
The centre runs two services: the Occupational Therapy Service (STO) and the Occupational Integration Service (SOI), both accredited under Decree 69/2020 .
Each person is given a personalised support plan setting out their needs, interests and wishes, along with an activity charter that is reviewed every year.
A specialist technical team guarantees the high quality and innovation of the support provided. The centre's activities and services are marked by their community focus and inclusiveness and stand out in the arts and sport. The La Màxima and Art i suma projects are particularly significant.
Independent living
Fundació Ilersis provides housing and independent living services and support tailored to each person's individual needs. We make sure our residential homes offer a warm, welcoming and familiar environment, respecting personal preferences and delivering care people can trust.
We keep small living groups , paying attention to personal affinities and privacy within a homely setting. Each home has the technical, material and professional resources needed to meet every resident's needs and interests.
Our commitment is reflected in our involvement in the Casa Meva and CIMER projects.
Casa Meva project
Casa Meva is an innovative project that complements the residential home service and is designed to foster community inclusion for people with disAbilities.
Fundació Ilersis currently leads this project in the Segrià area, with around twenty participants and four homes.
The project runs under the European Social Fund calls, coordinated by Plena Inclusión and supported by DINCAT in Catalonia.
CIMER project
The CIMER project is an initiative to promote more inclusive communities in rural and mountain areas.
Its aim is for people with disAbilities, care needs or advanced age to be able to exercise their right to independent living without having to leave their home or their community.
The project works to keep people living in rural areas and to create new opportunities linked to personal care and support services..
An aim aligned with Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006).
Health
At Fundació Ilersis we have a team of health professionals who work in coordination with specialists from the public and private networks to provide comprehensive, personalised care.
Biological medicine.
With more than 25 years of experience, we promote biological medicine initiatives that strengthen the body's natural response mechanisms. A well-established, medically supervised discipline that can be used on its own or alongside conventional treatments.
Rehabilitation alternatives and animal-assisted therapy.
We are pioneers in animal-assisted therapy. We offer a therapeutic and learning environment designed specifically to improve our team's quality of life and capabilities.
Healthy spaces with conscious architecture.
We look after the ventilation, natural light and materials of our centres following healthy architecture criteria. We create accessible environments that support physical comfort, mobility, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Assistive equipment bank (CONVO project).
We lend out assistive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, hoists or bathroom adaptations) so that everyone has what they need to live independently. A fast-access service linked to the CONVO pilot project.
Companionship, home care and assistance.
We offer fully personalised health support. We handle medical appointments, prescriptions, treatments and home care in case of illness, ensuring close attention tailored to each person.
Advanced cognitive and sensory stimulation.
We train memory and language with the interactive digital system GRADIOR to slow cognitive decline. We also have Snoezelen environments, spaces designed to relax or stimulate the senses, improving communication and physical wellbeing.
Culture, nutrition and expressing abilities.
We promote health from an all-round perspective: we encourage physical activity, self-management and healthy habits through the "Cooking emotions" programme, and we foster artistic expression through the performing arts company La Màxima, our benchmark for social change on stage.
Leisure
We run a leisure service designed to encourage active participation, personal development and socialising within the community. True to our philosophy, it is self-managed: the team and the participants themselves choose, organise and lead the activities according to their own motivations and interests.
Our activities are open to everyone who is part of Fundació Ilersis and fall into three main areas:
- Weekends: Getaways, meet-ups and cultural outings.
- Holidays: Trips and scheduled stays during holiday periods.
- One-off activities: Day-to-day activities, workshops and special events.
